Please let June be better than May!!!

Meghan's birthday is coming up soon (way too fast too) and she's wanting a camera for her birthday. Now, she's accustomed to using my Kodak z700 so I'd like to get her something non-kiddish, you know? But I refuse to return to Wal-Mart to get her a camera because every time we go to look at them, the batteries are dead in ALL of them and the older lady who works in that department has the personality of a pine cone and isn't very helpful. We have a Ritz close by and there are of course pawn shops we can look at so I'm excited about the actual "search".

You could always buy online too..I have bought both of my cameras online, with exceptional service! Hey maybe call ahead, and ask her to put a few on the charger cuz you plan on making a purchase. If she doesn't I would contact customer service...not to rat on her, just to mention about the dead battery issue..I use to live in an area that we only had one Walmart in a 50mile radius...so I know how that is. Now we have them every 5-6 miles!

hey before you bash walmart.. a really good camera is there fujifilm finepix.. its a wonderful cameras and not "kiddish" its what I have walmart now carries the newer version its about $199 I think so its not to excpensive.. it has wonderful settings.. macro motion blurr resistancce aperature shutter settings a few more.. you have my word it is a good camera

Wal-Mart and I have issues. I would definitely love to get her a Finepix! I've not seen them in the stores here though, I'll have to double check. I think Brandon is wanting to keep the price around $100 so we will have to go with something smaller, unfortunately

We don't have a credit card so online shopping is out but that is an excellent idea about calling and asking her to put some on the charger! We have two Wal-Marts to choose from, one is about 3 miles from us, the other about 10, lol. A big difference from when we lived in Virginia and they were all 45 minutes away! Thanks hon!
